I graduated from Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1989. During that time I received the McMahon Foundation Scholarship, Leslie Powell Foundation Scholarship and the Helen Holiday Foundation Scholarship. At that time, I was living in Oklahoma but moved to Plano, Texas in 1990 where I studied at the University of North Texas in Denton Texas where I was a teaching fellow from 1990 to 1991. Since that time, I have completed around 300 pieces of art, drawings, sketches, collages, books and paintings while also raising my family. I moved to Houston in 2000 where I exhibited at the Latitudes Fine Art Gallery until it closed. I have recently moved to Rockwall, Texas.
